THE BEST YARD SALE OF THE YEAR IS HAPPENING THIS SATURDAY!!

Join us in Billerica this Saturday, October 17th, starting at 8am for our Mega Huge Yard Sale! We're going to be selling a lot of the larger items we just can't bring to the flea markets, like tables and chairs, framed and unframed prints and posters, some fine art, lamps, toolboxes both small and large, decorative items, and too much more to list, plus some smaller items as well. Some are antiques, some are more recent, but all of them are quality pieces that will be priced to sell! Check out our Craigslist post for all the details!

We were planning on having a MASSIVE yard sale at our home in Billerica this Saturday, but a forecast of rain is going to prevent it from occurring. We intend to try again on Saturday, October 17th!

BRIMFIELD SEPTEMBER 2015 - FINAL WRAP-UP

We were greeted at Hertan's Field Sunday morning by a touch of rain and a paucity of customers, and decided to immediately begin packing up, as the forecast called for more rain to develop, and we figured not too many folks would be coming out to traipse the fields. However, by the time we left at midday, the parking lots had begun to fill with shoppers undeterred by the pessimistic forecast, and those shoppers ended up being very lucky, as the "steady rain" that was predicted for most of the day never developed into anything more than just a light drizzle. A bit disappointing, but we did manage to make one sale on the day, and on the plus side, we got home dry and in time for the NFL's early kickoff.
 Our thanks as always go out to David and Jerry and all of the terrific folks at Hertan's. They are simply the best, and we are proud to be associated with their show! Thanks as well to our tent providers, Rick and Sheri from Elegant Tent And Party, and to the folks from Peter Fuller for our rental van. Be sure to mention Lovequist Antiques if you decide to use their services!
 Our next appearance is scheduled for Todd Farm on Sunday, September 27th. We also intend to have our HUGE yard sale the following Saturday, October 3rd, featuring a lot of items that are just too large or difficult to bring to the flea markets, like furniture, floor lamps, and some fine and framed art, alongside a host of other offerings, all at deeply discounted prices. BRIMFIELD SEPTEMBER 2015 DAY FOUR - MORE OF THE SAME!

We were blessed with another rain-free shopping day at Brimfield on Saturday, and the result was a steady flow of traffic through our tent, and, in somewhat of a coincidence, the SAME amount of sales we had on Wednesday! Sunday is the last day of the shows, and the weather forecast for the area calls for rain. We will be opening around 8:30am, and intend to spend the morning slowly packing for a midday departure, as we do not expect much of a turnout. Look for us next at Todd Farm in just two weeks!

BRIMFIELD SEPTEMBER 2015 DAY THREE - A BUSY FRIDAY

We took advantage of a forecast of early-morning rainshowers (and a need to watch the Patriots) to sleep in a bit on Friday and delay our opening until 9am. Soon, the fields began to teem with shoppers, and a steady stream of sales throughout the day allowed us to have our best day of the show so far (by a buck!) and our best Friday EVER (by a lot)!
On Saturday, we expect to open by 7:30am and plan to stay until at least 5pm. It's going to be a picture-perfect fall day, and we urge folks who are considering coming this weekend to do so tomorrow, as Sunday's forecast remains sketchy, and we will likely only be open on Brimfield's final day from around 8am until noon, so that we might get things packed up before the heaviest rain begins in the mid-afternoon. BRIMFIELD SEPTEMBER 2015 DAY TWO - THE EDGE OF WETNESS

Those who ventured to Brimfield on Thursday had to dodge occasional raindrops in the morning and a more persistent rain in the afternoon, but we managed to get in a decent day of sales despite the weather. The wetness is expected to end mid-morning on Friday, so we will likely wait to open until 8:30 or 9am, and then remain open as long as there are folks with folding money traipsing the fields. Saturday's going to be a perfect fall day, and we intend to open by 7:30am and stay late!

BRIMFIELD SEPTEMBER 2015 - DAY ONE IS DONE!

Hertan's Field opened just before noon today and a good-sized crowd braved the roasting heat and  humidity in search of great deals. A couple of large early sales allowed us to have a decent performance on the first day of this five-day-long show. On Thursday, we'll be up and running very early, as showers have been predicted to reach the Brimfield area during the afternoon, so we intend to open by 7am, and to stay open as long as there are customers and the weather permits it. Come on by SPACE 61 before you head to May's!
