WE WON'T BE AT TODD FARM THIS WEEKEND...

A weather forecast calling for bone-chilling temps is going to prevent us from setting up at Todd Farm this coming weekend, which means our outdoor flea market season is ovah. There is a possibility of an indoor flea market occurring in the Portsmouth, NH area in early December - we will let you know what happens with that... In the meantime, check out our eBay page starting this weekend as we'll be listing all sorts of cool items for sale just in time for the holidays!

WE WON'T BE AT THE RANCH THIS WEEKEND...

Thanks to a forecast of bone-chilling cold, and maybe even SNOW, we will not be setting up at the Rietta Ranch Flea Market this Sunday. We still hope to set up at Todd Farm on Sunday, November 16th, if we're not buried in snow by then...

Find us this Sunday starting at 6am at the Hollis Flea Market in Hollis, NH! It's their LAST flea market of the 2014 season, and we are seeking to reduce inventory, so we will be bringing along a whole load of quality merchandise that will be all be offered at HALF OFF original prices. EVERY SINGLE ITEM will be 50% off!  It will be a bargain hunter's paradise and the fields will be packed! Plus the last Amherst Antique Car Show of the year is happening just up the street! OUR SCHEDULE FOR THE REST OF 2014!

Here is our intended schedule for the rest of 2014 - all dates subject to change due to weather:

Sunday, October 12th - we return to Todd Farm!
Sunday, October 26th - the Hollis Flea Market for their LAST day of the 2014 season.
Sunday, November 2nd - our debut at the Rietta Ranch Flea Market in Hubbardston, MA, which is also on their last day of 2014.
Sunday, November 16th - Todd Farm

OUR FIRST TODD FARM WRAP-UP

A last-minute change in the forecast did not deter us from making our debut at Todd Farm this morning. As expected, scattered showers ruled the pre-dawn hours, but once the sun came up, the skies cleared and the sun slowly took over. It was actually extremely busy in the 5am hour, and then tapered off considerably until mid-morning. We persevered, made a lot of sales, and in the process enjoyed our first time setting up at Todd Farm. We'd like to thank Todd for his hospitality and for giving us a great spot on the field - we can GUARANTEE we'll be back!

FIND US AT TODD FARM THIS SUNDAY!!!!

It's been a LONG time coming, but this Sunday, September 21st, Lovequist Antiques will be making our TODD FARM DEBUT! Todd Farm is located in Rowley, MA, and has long been considered the best flea market for antiques in Eastern New England, so we are very excited to finally join the party! The field opens to the public at 5am, and will probably stay busy into the noon hour (the Patriots play at 1pm); we'd suggest arriving no later than 10am. You can park in the back of the field for FREE or right across the street for (I think) 5 bucks. We don't know exactly where on the property we'll be located; check our Facebook page Sunday morning for that info. The weather WILL be fantastic and the field will be full, so make us a part of your weekend!

BRIMFIELD 2014 WRAP-UP - A SPECTACULAR SUNDAY!

Thankfully, Brimfield avoided most of the rain that hit the region overnight, so Hertan's Field was nearly dry when we opened for business at 7:30 this morning. We managed to make some good sales despite a thin early crowd, but as the morning warmed up, buyers eventually came out in force, and they kept us busy well into the afternoon. Several of the locals commented that they had chosen to avoid the heat on Saturday, and their patience was rewarded with a Sunday that was absolutely spectacular. Our patience was rewarded as well, as Sunday unexpectedly turned out to be our BIGGEST sales day of the entire week!
We'd again like to thank David and Jerry and all of the terrific folks at Hertan's Field for their hospitality this week. They run a truly fantastic operation, and we can't thank them enough for making our first year at Hertan's not only successful, but delightful. We'd also like to thank our friends at Elegant Tent And Party for another great tent (please mention us when you book your tent with them for next year) and Peter Fuller for our Ford rental van.  We are already looking forward to May 13-17, 2015, when (drum roll please) we expect to return to SPACE 165 at Hertan's Field for the next edition of the Brimfield Shows! In the meantime... we're thinking about making our Todd Farm debut! Details coming soon!
